Hi Guy's not been on for a while it's been quiet,there is a mandatory Xbox360 update today and i'm just wondering if anyone has done the update and is everything OK?

you can replace with 7/8v1/8v2/and 9 series liteon fat all use the same firmware /02510c

Your right with your first option,

1.reflash to stock
2.download and usb install the latest dash
3. flash to lt 3.0

I always do this and never have problems,hope that helps.

You should always flash back to stock first ,do the update via usb, download from microsoft website,then flash and then you will be ok to go.

Can you tell us in what order did you flash the drive? I am presuming that you flashed the xbox 360 back to stock first then take the dash update ,then flash with ixtreme 3.0 .

Just a suggestion I had a lot of problems with my pc freezing,just purchased the x360usb pro and it's the best thing I'v ever done no more freezing and it's really fast.

No once you have done the patch, that's it.

And you should flash back to stock before applying, then do the dash update.
