I'm flashing my samsung ms-25 with iprep. I have done this exact drive a couple of times with no errors. This drive, it seems like its taking but when writing banks 0,1,2,3 go fine but then it stops and don't give me bank 4 or success. Any help would be great.

I held down sync and push eject 4 times result in lights is 4 1 4 2

Ewwww, I already have the xbox torn apart again. I am seeing if I have something wrong and I also read the thread about the screw could be to tight so i was going to losen those. When I plug it all back in and still have the light I will try and post. Thank you very much for the reply.

Is anyone having disk read errors with ghost busters back up. I have tried doing using different disks and redumping with the same result. any suggestions will be appreciated. I am using now memorex with a samsung drive. I have tried with img burn and clonecd with abxg360.

I am not sure what you are saying. I am modding sam25. I have on xp iprep and jf, neither will read my firmware correctly. I cant replace def file because I don't have the resource file or tools file. I am very new to this, I have a pretty good understanding of verbage, but not really sure with xbox...

If I make a usb boot with vista will it work on xp?

That is where I have gotten my firmware. I moved it from xbox360/firmware/hackedfirmware/toshibasamsung/then moved file over to my computer side. Any other suggestions???

Thank you for helping me!!!! I can't get into file to change when I try to go into resources file it doesn't exist. The next file is FW and not resources. Do I have the right understanding there. I have installed other versions of iprep and same thing occurs.

I am a noob. I looked all over the forum and couldn't find the answer. I have downloaded iprep and jf and neither of them will read my firmware for samsung. iprep says no valid firmware loaded jf says 777777777777777777777777777777 as the key. I have read and watched at least 50 different tutorials ...
