i keep reading about flashing back to stock firmware before updating, do i need to do this or can i just update to 1.9?

so basically i just load up dummy, target the 1.9, spoof the key, write then outro,,,,correct?

do i need to extract the key if i have a dummy from the previous flash?

I noticed on xbins that a new 1.9 firmware came out. i think i have LT 1.1+ on it now, can i just load up 1.9 with jungle like i did the previous flash or is there something new that i need to do? ( the dash is updated, ive also heard that makes a difference)

can the drive be flashed without soldering?

all the sudden my mw2 backup wont work, tried it on 2 flashed machines and i get the same thing, all other backups work fine, i even made another copy of mw2 and get the same result, any ideas?

i have a benq that has already been flashed, i want to upgrade to upgrade to LT plus 1.1, do i need to unlock in JF or put the drive tray halfway?
