all u need on that usb is : 1- make it bootable with iprep. 2- add l-i-eras to it, you can find it here or in other forum (lite on erase). 3- dosflash should be there after you do bootable with iprep.(if no add it). 4-your CFW. erase with l-i-eras, dosflash and put into vendor mode, write cfw...that...

do you use VIA card or on board sata, obviously there's a communication problem with the card. which asus mother board you have, i would say try one of the on board sata. use intro in JF to find the port you at. if you keep working with VIA, if you have more then one port on the VIA, try all of them...

i have asus mobo and i had the same problem, couldnt load from usb.
thats what you do:
go to the bios, and then boot menu,
it shows you the boot order and below the boot menu there hd menu and cd menu.
make sure on both that you push the usb stick to be first and itll boot all right.

Thanks for all the help guys, finally after about two weeks of trying i did the liteon in 2 minutes. and the answer was right here in front of me all that time. on board sata works as magic.....thanks Jmicron :):):). if you have asus "p5w dh delux" mobo, use the black jmicron, works magic....

Thanks for your reply cofree. i already did that when i started. as i said i have read before i ask questions :). this lite on just drives me crazy mate....everything go fine till the point you want to write and it need to verify the erase before writing, it just stays there with 3 dots....eghhhhhhh...
