Need help quick...im planning on doing it today

i currently have Xtreme 5.3 on my samsung ms25 drive and i wanna upgrade to iXtreme 1.4, can i just straight flash over the top or do i have to go back to the original firmware and then flash it again?

ok so ive ripped the image of an xbox 360 game called Ricky Ponting Cricket 2007 onto my computer using wxripper. now obviously i need to fix up the image in dvd mulluter, but when i open the image up in dvd mulluter it appears the program dosnt have the files for the game such as the SS.bin etc, so...

i went down there to pick them up but they had none left so i asked if they had any +R disks and guess what they just got stock in so its all good now

well im in australia so that might be just what they sell down here...they were $12 australian for a 3 pack

i went up to my locol shop today to see if they had any verbatim dual layer disks but i could only find -R DL there was no +R DL....so my question is will -R DL work with xbox 360?

ok thanks now just to clear things up, once my drive is flashed using the 10sec trick my computer will recognize my 360 drive and i can then use XBC to backup my game. hope this is right
