May be a silly question but are the .Net frameworks all backwards compatible? I am running vista which has .Net V4.0 I believe so is it necessary to install v2.0 for Iprep? Would this cause any conflicts?

I agree. I've done the POT tweak a few times but it's a crap shoot.

If it's new you should probably try cleaning the laser lens first. You would be surprised how many systems I have fixed by simply cleaning the lens. A little rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Be gentle.
