Errr have you got a comport on the back of your pc? If you have and its not showing up it might be disabled in your bios. yes i do have one and thats where my VIA card is conected...i think you cannot enable them in my BIOS i already check or maybe i dont know how to do it....i have an HP pavilion ...

when i am doing all the stuff to my flash drive on iprep i chose my firmware, then VIA card but then i don't have any options to chose a COM port...i doesn't name any COM port so i cant flash my lite-on...i was able to flash a benq without a COM port but i need one for lite-on and i cant pick one......

I never used the ck3 on my lite on and still got it flashed. All I used was the usb xtractor. you use JF but i use iprep....maybe the problem is that my iprep doesnt show the comports when i am preparing the flash drive.......i researched a lot about it and i cant get COM ports on my iprep...i have...

What are you trying to flash your lite-on with iPrep or Jungle? (7 series are pretty easy with either JF or iPrep.)

you only need the probe if you got firmware v74xx, if you got any other lite on you can just flash normally in jungle flasher. well im trying to flash with iprep and i got lite-on 74....but if the CK3 is to power on the drive why cant i just do it with the console like i did with my benq drive ?
