Are you certain it's a Benq And not a LIteon because DG-16D2S is a Liteon drive.

Yes man thats pretty much it.

If the sammy has already been spoofed with the Benq serial then you can proceed as normal and flash it as you would a virgin drive,if not then you would need to dump the OFW from the Benq first and then spoof that into the sammy ixtreme 1.51 firmware and flash it with that.

Ive seen this problem before and if i remember right its to do with your Raid setting in bios, try turning Raid off.

Basically what i want to do is take a Benq drive out of one box to flash with 0800 firmware and use a spare liteon drive i have to replace it.
1. Is it possible
2.Which is the easiest method, bearing in mind that i have never spoofed a drive.
