Finally found a video that describes the noise im talking about. According to posters on X-S, this noise is normal in all Benq's. *pheeeew*

Ok guys, i haven't touched a thing...Just figured i'd share a recent finding. Was playing a NBA Ballers Chosen One on my premium and the Hitachi is making that same sound during the loading screens. Burned on a Verb @ 2.4x...So i guess this noise is 'normal' afterall.

Just got my singapore Verbs ID MKM 003. Burned MLB 2K8 @ 2.4x and guess what? Still the same noises, although a lil more subtle. My final conclusion is that it's the games & where particular data is stored on the disc & how fast the laser has to fetch it. Im going to take your advice cofree ...

If you are running Vista make sure its using the proper Nforce drives and not the MS drivers.
