Hi people, i had all this set up before i restored my computer, well anyway i need to read a lite on key and i cant get the com port thing to work. Hi all, i need a bit of help upgrading my mates benq to 1.61, i have upgraded liteons and a sammy using the flashing guides. I just cant find a tut on the benq upgrade.

Do i just dummy from iextreme like the liteon, load source firmware and write? Thanks in advance.

Ah right, i did know that but i was under the impression there was an old firmware that didn't do stealth checks and such, so i could just put anything in.

Hi, a quick quick quetion for you lot lol. I have a 360 that will never connect to live, i will be using it for offline single player games. Is there a firmware that allows you to play any wave game so i don't have to keep updating it? Thanks in advance.

You tried a power cycle on the drive to make sure it is in vendor mode. Probably have but i did do that a few times too.

I did manage to get my liteon to be recognized again after erase and the freeze. My drive would not eject so i did it manually. I think i used the intro and done the quick power on/off, that or erase again and quick power on/off. Took a few goes but this did work for me. Flashed and working.

First post on here, been around for a while. Used a few guides on here so many thanks for them.

Anyway i need to replace my benq drive with another new one as its barely playing discs, is there any guides on here for this, i can't find one. Any help would be appreciated. Will be using jf.
