Well guys, I managed to completely kill my XBOX 360 I had a problem, my Liteon kept opening and I thought it was because of a bad flash or something Well, I just got my new BENQ drive, connected it to the XBOX and I'm having the same problem, the drive keeps opening. So I reckon I fried my mainboard...

having the same problem here, nothing working so far, i'm gonna stop trying to get that status out and order a benq drive...hopefully i've extracted my key and everything right (and haven't damaged the mainboard)

okay, which benq drive do i need? (basically, what do i need to search for on ebay )

and how do i spoof a liteon dummy.bin to a benq drive?

i tried to erase it with JF, but i keep getting the 0x80 status, i can power cycle the crap out of it, it still doesn't change status

oh yeah, it also isn't recognized in JF (getting "No Drive Detected!) but i know the port

i've got the tray half open, does that make some difference?

thanky for replying so quickly! crap, well, tried to reflash the drive (read your reply too late), it got stuck at bank 3 and is now constantly in 0x80 status, tried in dosflash, tried in JF the status never changes from 0x80 no matter how often i try l-o-eras and power cycle it and unplug/plug back...
