Got the VIA6412a chipset but the status wont change ,stays at x077 ( i think thats it)
The cd drive wont open either,i take it either the xbox itself isnt giving power to the cd drive or the cd drive isnt accepting it?

its not going to mount up to windows right the only way it will is if you flash the 0800 firmware\ but that is just for dumping games. ok So have you any idea what the problem is? Been searching everywhere i can and noticed something that other people said,my xbox drive wont open..

Im using iprep 10.7 ixtreme 1.61 with the def for it aswell (all from xbins) Followed the video tutorial from here :D I had a problem getting it to recognize the drive at first using the sata cable from my dvd drive but got it working with the hard drive sata cable.
