Re: Latest versions of Jungleflasher crash my PC graphic dri
Hmm, you have given me an idea, Does JF run in safe mode? Before I change graphics drivers perhaps I could try running it in safe mode with graphics drivers stripped back to basics?

Latest versions of Jungleflasher crash my PC graphic drivers
Hi there Asked about this on the jungleflasher forums, but it is hard getting responses there for some reason :/ Anyway, any version of Jungleflasher after 1.78 crashes my pc for some reason. As soon as I do the quick on/off switch of my dvd drive when erasing the p.c momentarily crashes, I get a bl...

Re: Updating to new dashafter missing updating to the last o
Noooo, I was never keen on having to use one of those kits. On the plus side (because I didn't know if I would ever need it) I do have a "Xecuter Connectivity Kit v3 Pro with Probe Bundle" - looking through my order emails, I bought it Oct 09. Is that the right thing that I need?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Updating to new dashafter missing updating to the last o
Thanks for the replies guys. I am nervous about flashing my drive (only done it once as my pc slows down like crazy when I have a 360 drive connected, and makes me think it will freeze up) On the plus side, my drive is the 83850 which doesn't need the probe and whatnot. I think I'll wait until the n...

Re: Updating to new dashafter missing updating to the last o
Ah of course, that all makes sense. I didn't think to look at it that way :) Quick question as an aside to this - I have a machine here still on the pre-flash XDG3 dashboard. Has anyone settled on whether you should flash back to stock first before updating the dash, or is it fine (if keeping the ma...

Re: Updating to new dashafter missing updating to the last o
Very late update to this thread. Months after asking I have discovered that if you skipped the initial update which re-flashed drives back to stock, then when you do update to the most current dashboard, it does indeed flash your drive back to stock. I find this interesting, as most are saying that ...

Re: Updating to new dashafter missing updating to the last o
I'm gonna do some more googling first. I was under the assumption that that last update added the XDG3? stuff? But MS must be aware some people may well be buying a machine and taking it online for the first time and have missed the last update completely. I wonder if it doesn't flash drives which w...

Re: Updating to new dashafter missing updating to the last o
I don't think I explained myself very well. My offline machine is on the dashboard previous to the one which flashed drives back to stock. If I find myself having to update it, can I just use the latest update, or do I need to update the dash with the "dvd back to stock" dashboard first? I...

Updating to new dashafter missing updating to the last one?
Had a good look around google etc and can't find an answer to this. Because I have two machines (one for originals and one for backups) I missed the last dash update on my backup machine because of the issues it was causing flashing drives back to stock etc. Now, what happens if I find myself needin...

Re: Latest update - swapping profile between 2 machines
Ah that's good to hear. To be honest I started doing just a profile swap on usb stick when some games started having the ap25 check etc. So I'd keep my stock machine bang up to date, but my backup machine was kept one dashboard version behind, so that backups stayed compatible until new firmware was...

Re: Latest update - swapping profile between 2 machines
nufcmickey: I think you are having a different issue. I'm talking about just having my profile on a usb stick and plugging it into two different machines, one with older firmware and one with the latest one, and hoping there are no issues (like I have had in the past)

Re: Latest update - swapping profile between 2 machines
Thanks for looking into it :) Have to say I haven't had issues myself for a while now. But going back maybe 2 years, there was a dashboard version which for many people caused the profile to get corrupted when swapping between machines. Many threads appeared across the net with people having the sam...

Latest update - swapping profile between 2 machines
Can't find an answer to this anywhere. I have two machines, one offline for backups, and one online for originals. I always keep my online machine up to date and keep my backup machine on previous dash's until firmware problems are ironed out. In the past this has caused an issue swapping profiles b...

Re: Building A Rework Station
Hey man how are things going with your reballing? Thanks to southbound for posting that video. I wish I lived in the U.S as that guy would be getting my business. I haven't found anyone on the U.K who seems to be doing reballing. Most say reballing but are cheating and just doing a reflow. I'd love ...
