have dismantled the bottom case and it appears that the battery connection wires that stick out into the battery compartment are housed in a plastic black block the upper wires on mune have broken thru

wondering if anyone can help here. I have a ds lite that hasn,t been used in a while and when i have opened the battery compartment its corroded,battery has leaked all over and from what i can see one of the battery terminals looks damaged. How easy is it to repair the battery terminal or is it game...
