I think you can only use ck3tool to extract the key right you cant actually flash with it? also I think that ck3tool wont give you dummy file.. I would use jungleflasher if I were you.

Really the speed depends on what dvd drive you have.. I use the 8x because they burn so much faster.. 10min vs 40min and I have never had a problem with them reading but I dont suggest you burn this way unless you have benq or liteon as the other drives seem to be alot more finicky.

I would say use jungleflasher but make sure you have the newest version.. They fixed the freezing problem (at least it doesnt with my computer anymore) which was caused by the via drivers that come with my sata card. Its really upto you they both work just make sure you have the newest of either.

If your going to be using windows 7 get ready to have alot of problems you cant fix.. I know for a fact you can flash xbox with it but anytime you use a operating system that isn't released yet your going to have problems..

are you using the latest jungle flasher?

In 1.5.1 it tells you that error when something is wrong when trying to extract the fw and it wont let you even save the fw. How do you suppose you edit the dummy file when you dont have one yet? If you are using jungleflasher 1.5.1 and are getting badd serial data when trying to extract the key its something to do with your serial or usb drivers whichever you are using. Try reinstalling drivers or working on a fresh install of windows xp.
