Re: 9504 slim drive Flashing Question
Just to amplify, the key is not all the info you need for liteons, you need to have a full dump and dummy bin for this to work. Others have just saved the key from other methods and not been able to program a replacement board....

Re: LT 3.0, can i use backups(DVD burned media) to repatch
You cannot patch an already burned disc, you will have to run your saved image files through abgx 1.06 and reburn. Never tried making a backup of a backup before, just use the original disc or saved iso again. Hope this helps...

First thing I would check is to make sure both the power harness and the sata cable are plugged in correctly, both at the dvd drive and at the motherboard...

Re: laptop screen will / wont come on
Switch is not necessarily visible, can be built into the hinge assembly. It isn't visible on the dv2000. I think most laptops have this switch in one form or another as part of the battery saving feature.

Re: laptop screen will / wont come on
It could be a switch issue, there is one that turns screen on/off when you close the lid, or it could be a cable to your backlight inverter. Here is the description of the problem and a possible solution written for a hp dv2000: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-pavilion-notebooks/225848-how-fix-dv...

Great to see it hosted here, went through a lot of trouble to get it earlier today. Seems hotfile wanted to say I was already downloading it, and wouldn't start a second connection!

Re: Burning XGD3 XBox 360 games
If you get your drive from newegg you are almost guaranteed to get a rev b. There are really only 2 differences as far as hardware goes. The ones that start with an odd number are the same (124, 324, 524) with just a different firmware flashed to give more features. Same goes for the ones that start...

Re: Game Copy Wizard
Game Copy Wizard was a way of making one for one copies of discs back in the day, specifically it helped bypass secure rom data. It used a method of copy that is similar to blind write, where the program doesn't try to read the data being copied, just copies byte for byte instead. Worked back then o...

Re: iPrep says "no valid fw loaded"
Haven't had to do this for a while, but here goes. Iprep is old and won't recognize new fw, so create your iprep flash using older fw (from like the end of 2009 or early 2010). After it is created, make a new fw using jf, and save it as litcfw.bin. Make a folder, call it 1111111, then make a sub fol...

Re: 0225
Try this... open cfw as source, then let it auto load the cfw as target. Choose manual spoof, then type in your key. I see there are 2 types of 0225 cfw's available, try one, and if it doesn't work try the other. Don't know why the other time you tried this it didn't verify your flash when done, but...

Re: 0225
A couple of options: 1) Free option is to do nothing, just play games off of hard drive since it is RGH'd (I am assuming it is a slim, lol). You can copy games over using iso2god. 2) Get an unlocked replacement board for your drive and install it. If you have the correct dvd keys, all you would have...

Re: is it possible
I think if you already had the cpu key it would work. By dead, you mean RROD right? If you read the nand and had the cpu key, you would be able to decrypt the keyvault, then patch that kv into another xbox nand. The donor kv type would have to match the new boxes kv type. Correct me if I am wrong on...

Re: JTAG question, halfway there
You can edit the temperatures that the fans start to speed up at, I set mine to start at 60c. If you are using jtag tool, go to remap bad blocks, then there is a tab for show 360 flash tool. In 360 flash tool, open your hacked nand file and type in your cpu key. Then choose the tools tab at the top,...
