Are you advising me to dump the drive an get the key before I update the drive/console, as the new update can encrypt the key etc?

I have the Xbox Slim with LiteOn 0401 stock firmware on it. I wanted to know, if I wanted to flash this drive, will I first need to update the dashboard on the console or can flash the drive straightaway - I'm going to use the TX Unlocked LiteOn PCB.

My Xbox 360 came with a Lite-On 93450C, but recently the DVD drive became faulty, so I bought a Lite-On 74850C drive. I put the original drive's stock FW (Lite-On 93450C) on the replacement drive. So I can use my BANNED xbox 360's 120gb hard drive and I will be ok - my xbox 360 slim 4gb console won't get banned too?

If I upgrade an Xbox 360 4GB slim console's Hard Drive can I get banned?
Is their a risk?

If I unflash a BANNED console and take the update and flash Ixtreme LT back on the dvd drive using Iprep, will I be able to play all backups - including Ap25 games???

If I accept the latest Xbox 360 update, which puts the original firmware back on the xbox dvd drive, will I be able to flash the drive again or does it totally lock/stop the dvd drive from being flashed again?

My BenQ drive has the OLD IXtreme LT Custom Firmware and it has been spoofed to be a Lite-On. If I want to upgrade the CFW to LT PLUS 1.1, do I just flash it normally, or will I have to spoof it manually again?
