for now i use the activation disk but when i tried to upgrade the firmware i used iprep and it dont seem to load the firmware i dont know why

i used the xml file for firmware 1.61 and still not recognizing the firmware

so what i have to do to upgrade the firmware from 1.61 to 1.7 ?

i have Benq drive flashed with ixtreme 1.61 and i cant run Splinter Cell Conviction it read the disk as its a DVD Play

you will need 1.61 f/w or active iso to play wave 4 games only the hitachi will boot wave 4 games on 1.51 f/w and at your own risk mean if use xbox live and get ban don't go crying to them yes but the ban thing is old i will get banned only when i go to live right ? if yes its not different for me ...

so i understand now that jungleflasher can check if my key is good or not and also i can try the twice dump to double check if the key is the same or not

actually its my first time to flash so i will do it like in coFree's video tutorial and BTW how do i know my key is good ? because i read old topic saying that your key must be a couple of numbers and hex so i just want to know if i use iprep 8.8 in the first dump it will get my key right ? no need ...
