the the restore should work. if it erased the firmware that was in it .there should not be any firmware there. you should just have to do the restore. you may not even see the d1 flashing at all. that is part if the orig firmware that has to do the d1 flashing thing. i think its a hardware thing your computer is not seeing the 360 dvd drive.

It is responding however and I did flash the iextreme 1.3 with the same hardware? Also unfortunately it did erase the fw properly (E65 error code)
