the the restore should work. if it erased the firmware that was in it .there should not be any firmware there. you should just have to do the restore. you may not even see the d1 flashing at all. that is part if the orig firmware that has to do the d1 flashing thing. It is responding however and I did flash the iextreme 1.3 with the same hardware? Also unfortunately it did erase the fw properly (E65 error code)cofree wrote:the kit wont fix this
i think its a hardware thing your computer is not seeing the 360 dvd drive.

Hello I tried to upgrade my x360 from a 1.3 to a 1.4 iextreme fw. I got the erasing ok and then it went to writing bank 0 and telling me drive status not ok. Thanks for the responses, odd imo since the card is in fact at least compatable with dosflash which is used for the flashing. I'll give it some more tries today and otherwise get a cheap via pci card. I was wondering also how long the reading of the fw takes? is it only a mere seconds like the samsu...
