Flashing using iPrep 12 Beta ? ?

just wanting to know, is flashing the 74 liteon drives the same procedure in the iprep12 beta as it was in 10.7 ? Also, how advisable is it that i just do the simple method (probe etc) as opposed to the MRA hack ? Is the calibration data really that important ?

Cheers

New Iprep for LT?

Hey,

Just wondering if there is any news about a new version of iPrep to support the new LT firmware? I refuse to flash my drive until this is out as I dont trust JF at all, and have never had any problems with iPrep.

Cheers

Re: Question for Cofree / Mods regarding making ixdef files.

For example in v9 the ixtreme fw would be called LitCFW.bin .... but ive noticed v10.7 naming it as L74CFW.bin So ba...

Question for Cofree / Mods regarding making ixdef files.

Hi guys, Just recently updated a liteon to 1.6 using iPrep, with alot of running around involved. I have updated liteons before by using a mix of JF and iPrep. Basically if the drive is already flashed, I use JF to get the key, then create a LitCFW with the drive key, create my USB drive and then in...

People discussing if M$ have fixed the 83850c already

Hey guys, Just to draw your attention to a thread going on over at xbox-scene that I found rather interesting. They are claiming that Microsoft have aparantly fixed the exploit of the 83850c drive which gives you the key. It seems astho the drives are coming from repair centers (i think) and are dat...
