im havin a hard time using 008.8 too. i've been tryin to flash my ms25 for the past two days and i occasionally get this error also... i just reboot and did it again and the drive was there..weird.. i might have to try goin back to 004 if it worked for you cuz im starting to get irritated with this ...

Boot back into windows and have a check to make sure the samofw.bin is in the backups/serial#/serial# folder.

oh sorry..yea i put in a zero.. and all banks read..when i open up my backup folder, this is what it shows.. that's the only thing in my backup folder.(sorry but i can't seem to get the img code to work right)
