i need a motor that drives the laser up and down on a TS-H943 drive , i think there called a worm motor,i have look all over net and cant find one ,can anyone direct me to where they sell them.

its ok now sorted it replaced the laser drive motor had a spare and its working now,thanks for reply

hi i had a faulty TS-H943 drive it was not reading games so replaced the laser with a laser from a Hitachi GDR-3120L,i read on internet that they was the same after replacing now the laser does not move it stays in one place but the laser lights up.
any ideas to help

changed the sata lead and changed it to the front port on sata card and it worked first time .

yes sorry im using iprep and yes i have checked the mtk,i have tryed version 5 and 6 of iprep,bit none of them seem to work

im using the 6421a card and i am using the guide on here when turn the 360 on ,the numbers dont change on dos flash ,it stays at 0x7ff and also says abouve mtk flash intro failed , if that makes sense
