I don't see a Hitachi detected in that pic. You don't have Port I/O ticked. You can't use JF to send Mode B if you aren't using Port I/O Try ticking Port I/O and select different ports until you see your drive on the left. If you can't detect it over Port I/O and you don't have a CK3, you will have ...

With the Hits, you don't need to work outside of the HitachiGDR3120 Tab.
You can, but you don't need to if you're not spoofing. (you should also be fairly experienced in flashing)

You may have spoofed a bogus key.

If you're getting E64 sometimes, and other times it works fine, you have a worn out chip on your drive.
It will need to be replaced.
If you got the drive key, you can just replace it with a new one.

79 was the first drive I ever flashed. Was easy the 1st time with 360 FirmwareToolbox and even easier with JF1.51 Also detects on a VIA over Port I/O Send Mode B and 79Unlock are all built into JF (you still need the Unlock disc ofc, but it plays and stops it with one click) 78 should be even easier...

You get in on the firmware pack on xbins. (you can't flash Hitachi's without it, unless you already have the hit OFWs) Extract all of the firmwares into your Jungleflasher/Firmware directory. I have flashed 2 Hits with JF1.51 with no problems. Hit79 - VIA 6421, No Drivers, Port I/O (flawless) Hit47 ...
