360 connect to home network but not internet?
Does anyone know if it's possible to connect your 360 to your home network but keep it from getting out to the internet? Afraid a ban is waiting for me if it hits the internet so I want my 360 connected to my network only. Maybe a way to config the router from letting it get out or something? Any id...

Re: Ban Wave
There is no point keeping your currently unbanned console off live to avoid being banned, the ban happens if your connected or not. I assume that if you keep you console off of LIVE and never get the ban message then your HDD will not get corrupted and the console will still function properly(altho...

Re: Hitachi 79 mode B trouble
They can be fussy buggers, in particular with VIA cards. Glad you got it though man :P I thikn I'm going to write up a proper tut for Firmware Toolbox, it seems to me it's becomming a forgotten program and IMHO it works better than JF for the Hits... SUCCESS!!! Tested fine and working like a charm....

Re: Hitachi 79 mode B trouble
OK I restarted the process and it looks like it took the flash. I will be testing it out soon. Also, the only way I was able to get FTB to see the drive was to install a via driver. I also had the portio installed to, but i just wanted to throw it out there for anyone else maybe having the issues I ...

Re: Hitachi 79 mode B trouble
This compares your orig to the 1.4 on the drive -Once the Restore has finished, build your 1.51... Copy the key from your orig, by highlighting it, right clicking and copying, then load up 1.51 for your key location. The key should be all 77777777777's or 00000000000's, delete that and paste your k...

Re: Hitachi 79 mode B trouble
After a few attempts i was able to dump the ix1.4FW from the drive but now when i try to "restore to stock" firmware i get error "Ram Upload - Execute Failed"... That's the very problem I have with JF... If the unlock works with JF I'd do that then try it out with FWT. If you ha...

Re: Hitachi 79 mode B trouble
I have problems dumping/flashing all hit drives in JF, but I can get them in mode b with it... I would say go with Firmware Toolbox 4.8 (which must be what you used before). The only other thing you'll need is the 79Unlock cd, which can be found on Xbins... Ok still having issues. I havent tried ft...

Re: Hitachi 79 mode B trouble
When I first flashed the drive it was on a friends older PC and we used slax and iprep. if you are trying with the new jungle v1.55 make sure to install the new portio driver that comes with it. OK I tried removing the old port drivers and then manually reinstalled the new ones and launched JF with...

Re: Question about post "video iprep v008.8 ck3" From CoFree
yep iprep does it all dmp/flash the whole thing but yes you need a com port to use iprep you could try something like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815166003" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; other than that you would have to use jungle flasher. ...
