I'd be careful generally this latest update doesnt like spoofed drives. One good thing is the drive is a benq and is capable of ap 2.5 checks like the lite-on so you wont have failed checks, but the console may not like the spoofed drive.

I've never quite understood M$'s corruption crap. Half the time your profile if played on a banned xbox wont be corrupted, the other half it will. Then sometimes your game save will be corrupt but not your profile. Sometimes the uncorruption thing works, other times it doesnt. IMO profile corrupting...

Yea, the key location doesn't really matter at all. I'm usually lazy and just open whatever FW I have handy dont usually bother looking at the key location. Never had any issues.

I generally leave my 3G off if I keep it on all day I'll get like 6 hours. With Wifi on all day I'll get about 8-10 with it off I'll get about 12

Make sure you've got your drive set in XBC, my bet is the laser is weak or you have a setting incorrect somewhere.

I've only ever had the ixtreme not present error once or twice when I hadn't set my drive to 0800 mode (using 1.6 back in the day)
