Is backing up a game for the PC the same as, for example, an XBox 360 game? Does the DVD drive in my pc have to be flashed to a particular FW?

So as always hitachi drives are unaffected by all this mess and have no worries about booting AP2.5 and XDG3 discs?

Yeah that is a downer.. But that means older than AP25 is safe to use?

Does this mean that ALL of my AP25 backups are potentially unsafe?

Hello I'm just wondering if this is still an issue when burning a backed up iso or was there a solution to rip 100% of the game? I've been away with work for a bit and haven't been up to date. Thanks in advance for the help.

Just wondering about the new dash update that came out earlier this week. I haven't heard or seen anything on here about it so I was wondering if there is going to be new FW before the update will be safe? Any input or info will be great. Thanks.

Still looking for a reply on whether or not there is a hitachi LT+2.0.. I still can't understand also how you can rip more data from a disc when creating a back-up than there is supposed to actually be on the disc and when burning it there is not enough space on the disc.. It just makes no sense to ...

So is there going to be a way in the future to ensure the last 1.7% of the game will be obtainable and ensure that it will be live-save?

Oh and one more question: Is there a new FW update for Hitachi drives? I checked in the folder but didn't recognize one. Thanks.
