Hi guys After the new update my xbox have problem with my backup disk (goldeneye), it see it and start and install without problem, but when the game starts it continue reading disk with a strange sound from the drive and after a 1 min in the game, it give me a warning message, "fail to author...

Tried wmc and it still required a codec download!

Now using tversity which seems to be ok. Just wish my server wernt poorly powered!

Thanks cofree, will try the wmc route as it would save some problems. Also trying out tversity to see if it can transcode the xvid to wmv and see if it does it well.

I have a console and cant get the proper codec on it!

if not can i use something like tversity to code it on the fly to something the box will play?

Thanks Moonknight. I have reflowed it and put on better heat paste. This time around I'm not getting any red lights, just the middle green light and nothing else. I can eject the disk etc and press the sync button which results in the circle of green lights. But nothing on display! Any ideas?
