Video keeps going out but no red lights...
I've had 3 360 consoles in the past 6 months where the video has went out but the system kept working. You could still hear the sounds of the games and press the menu button to go back to the blades but you can't see anything. I've tried video cables, tried running straight to tv instead of digital ...

Re: Restoring Hitachi spoofed as Samsung question
Still not working. I have it hooked up through the Via sata port that is farthest from the outside of the pc case, tried it on all 4 ports in the pull down menu and giving it time to get up to 8 lines of dots. How long is it supposed to take? Also, I'm on a 64 bit Vista machine. Does that mess porti...

Re: Restoring Hitachi spoofed as Samsung question
Jungle Flasher isn't detecting the drive to put it into modeb. It just keeps showing dots on the screen (up to 8 lines). I've tried on all 4 ports that it lets me choose from the pull down menus. I read on a google search about disabling the drivers to get it to just use the sata port as input/outpu...

Re: Restoring Hitachi spoofed as Samsung question
I'm using the system to power the drive and when I tell it to unlock the drive in Jungle Flasher 1.62 on the MTK32 tab, it says to power on with drive half opened. I can do this but not fast enough after hitting yes to proceed and it says Failed at Stage 1. Any suggestions?

Re: Restoring Hitachi spoofed as Samsung question
I can't get it into Mode B is my problem. I want to restore it before anything else but Slax won't recognize it because it's technically a Samsung drive and I don't have a connectivity kit to power it in Windows.

Restoring Hitachi spoofed as Samsung question
I recently spoofed a hitachi 0078 (4d20) to Samsung MS28 because my samsung drive went out. Then, the video chip went out on that system so I decided to transfer the Hitachi over another system that originally had a Hitachi 78. When I went to flash it, though, I became apprehensive that I might bric...
