Gears of War's strongest point was Split Screen. However multiplayer is where the game shines. Gears also has an odd difficulty level which goes from being really easy to being punishingly hard. The textures and models are absolutely gorgeous, and the game play is speedy and fascinating.

Black Ops single player is much from a great experience. While it does have some truly stand out moments which help its case.
