Re: Lite-On key dumping.

I got everything working. I managed to dump the key using Jungleflasher. Got it to read the drive. Then I tried to erase, but it froze, so I used the dosflash/l-o-eras method and everything works fine now. THANKS everyone for helping me out.

Re: Lite-On key dumping.

I've flashed BenQ drives, but the LiteOn is the one giving me problems. Jungleflasher does not detect my drive. I'll try another computer....

Lite-On key dumping.

Hey, I just got the VIA card, and now I'm trying to dump the key.

I'm using iPrep 8.8 and I keep getting Geremia's Method failed or something like that. Any help? Thanks.

What SATA chipset are you using? I have the same problem with nForce. I just placed an order on a VIA chipset.

Re: Lite-On help.

with nforce boards, try setting your sata mode to legacy (sata) in your BIOS. Are you using Iprep?? Make sure you are using the primary port on any sata that you try. It might be worth looking at some of the other programs that can be used, a couple of them tell you if there is a drive connected on...
