Thanks for the input but i think the drive is fried...i put a game in today and it sounded like a jet was about to take off

The other issue is that the drive does not want to open. Then I have to open the 360 up and manually open it. The only way it does not get stuck is if there is a game in it at all time.

I ran into an odd situation today. I bought an xbox 360 today and after flashing I noted that it will only read backup games and not originals. I'm not sure what I have done wrong. I have a random question. I have 4 gigs of ddr3 1333 (2gig x 2) and wanted to upgrade to 8 gigs. I know i should probably 4 gigs of ddr3 1333 memory but could i install 4 gigs of 1600 memory? thanks for the help i really appreciate it.

What happens after you get banned? Can you get into further legal trouble?

I just play the game from my hard drive now. I'm not sure why it's doing this though. All the other games that i have backed up didn't do this.
