just installed windows 7 so i have just put j/f back on port i/o installed via card installed tested with a samsung everything going ok drive gets seen get it into vendor mode but when i press read get message invalid status oxfo any one know whats causing this ive never had this before any help tha...

doing the lite on fix after a crash when doing the erase in j/f get the ff80 and ff72 then do everything else but when it asks what i want to do i type e press enter and get unknown flash chip cant go any further any help thanks

Have you tried firmware toolbox?? And have you used 79 unlock? It might be worth trying onboard sata if you can't get it to work, they are sometimes fussy with VIA cards... i can get hitachi's in mode b and unlocked with JF, but I can never get a dump no matter what method I use so I have to use FW...

trying to sort this drive can get mode b , can get it unlocked but every time i try to dump the drive i get failed have tried doing it with via drivers installed and with the drivers uninstalled same prob every time upload failed changed the sata cables twice is there another way i have tried three ...

anyone else getting probs with this kit worked fine but now wont load the drivers for usb wont see the usb in j/f tried with serial to usb got drivers on but now seen in j/f but getting bad serial data probe light stays on all the time any help thanks

just use the lite on erase program or what i did was i hooked it up but not powered opened j/f made my flashed firmware and saved to file then in mtkflash i press intro/device then turn on the drive and the drive gets seen then write, im right in thinking you have got your o/fw

right playing a game, the box just turned itself off got message no signalm then it came back on started playing the game it froze i turned the console off. when i try to turn on nothing no lights nothing, tried different power cable they are all working but nothing on the front no lights as it gone...

thanks for reply yes i could do what you say and i prob willbut im wondering why its starting to say this now after all this time and now its reporting abgx as a virus i have sent a email to bitdefender so ill see what they say
