Re: spoofing
Sounds like you are trying to make it a little too difficult than it is. If I am not mistaken (and if I am please correct me) you will not need your hitachi firmware for this upgrade and you will not need to respoof it. The data is already there and will pretty much stay there as you are upgrading. ...

Re: spoofing
its a sammy spoofed as a hitachii with iXtrene 1.4 so yeah he does to be able to unlock the sammy drive... like you had told me before Sadalius, the spoof is only a very small bit of information that sends the drive key from another drive. At this point his sammy drive has already been spoofed as a ...

Re: spoofing
ok so this looks exactly what I had to deal with... if you use Jungleflasher: You dont need the original firmware of the hitachi to upgrade you have to use the 0800 disk to unlock the drive to re-flash it JF will keep the spoof info so you dont have to re-spoof it use the guide: http://www.robinhood...

Re: Upgrading a Spoofed drive
Thanks a lot Sadalius... I used the 0800 disc to unlock it and jungleflasher kept the same settings from the spoof so I just finished like if it was a regular samsung drive.

Upgrading a Spoofed drive
I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have searched the forums and found nothing. I have a Samsung ms28 drive that is spoofed to be a Hitachi 47. It currently has iXtreme 1.4 and I want to upgrade to 1.51. I dont have the original firmware as the spoof was done by someone else. I would prefer...

Re: BenQ with iPrep v8.8, Internal Stack overflow
I think your BIOS just needs to be updated. If you've never flashed a BIOS before there are some key points to remember: 1. If you're going to update from Windows make sure nothing else is running that could interfere with the process. 2. Do you damndest to make sure you DO NOT LOSE POWER!!! If you...

It was... I also had tried reseting the BIOS back to default and it did the same thing...sadalius wrote:If you don't have a floppy drive installed on this computer, check the BIOS and make sure that the floppy is disabled.

Re: BenQ with iPrep v8.8, Internal Stack overflow
So just as an update: Mod Disc Failed... kept getting stuck on reading the drive again, so my question is: Do I need to unlock the drive before I run iPrep? if I do then that was my problem. I did manage to flash my drive with jungleflasher so I did manage to do it. Thank you everyone for trying to ...

Re: BenQ with iPrep v8.8, Internal Stack overflow
Where does the error show up on? Is it an iPrep error or Windows error? Occurs when listing the drives... as soon as it turns on i get the error. Stacks are reserved memory that programs use to process hardware events. A stack overflow occurs when there is not enough space in memory to run the hard...

BenQ with iPrep v8.8, Internal Stack overflow
So I am still a beginner at this but not completely without knowledge, but I gotta say this has completely stumped me. Every time I boot up iPrep on my flash drive and either turn on my 360 drive or when it goes to read the drive, it will give me the internal stack overflow error and completely halt...
