Good to hear from you, Cofree. Do you still have game nights on Saturdays in that fancy game house you built?
Guess I will look to selling the old RROD boxes then. When is the new Xbox due to come out?--and will the drives inside be able to be flashed?

Hello from NeoRio
Hey guys, it's been a long time! I play my Xbox nearly every day (mainly Fifa and COD), but I missed checking in on things here on this lovely forum. Need to get back into the flashing gear one of these days! BTW, 2 of my 360's have the RROD and have been sitting on a shelf for a couple years. What ...

Game Copy Wizard
Hi guys, Have you heard of a program called Game Copy Wizard? http://www.gamecopywizard.com/?hop=webizco The premise is that you can copy original games that can be played on non-flashed machines. Here is a youtube video with a sloppy example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLR2txaMvoY&feature=re...

Re: I'm back for more! Red Rings, New XBoxes
Thank you for the answers.
The new XGD3 games, are those safe to backup and play on Live with?
If I'm setting out to buy a new box to flash, should I be looking for a specific model? Are the Slim's better than the old 360's...and should I look for a particular drive type over another?
Thanks

I'm back for more! Red Rings, New XBoxes
Hi guys, It's been a while! I miss keeping up with all the buzz here! After about 4 years of heavy Xbox usage with the 2 machines that I flashed myself, they have both given up the RROD. (Update, my son just came and told me that one of the machines that had the RROD was an error 74 and after some G...

Re: Advice on returning console to MS
The console arrived back today. There was a letter enclosed saying that a problem had been found with the DVD drive. A new Liteon drive was fitted (which I have just finished flashing) :D Looks like it pays to take a little bit more time and effort to preserve the warrenty stickers/labels when open...

Yes, that would have been nice; but I can tell you the temp difference is definitely big with the fan mod.

Re: Kreon vs 0800
Thanks for the heads up...much appreciated. The 2 consoles that I had flashed and used for over 2 years (making copies only of our own original games)...lasted 2 years and at least one ban-hammer without getting banned. It was the last big one (that got us all) that finally got us. So, there was som...

Re: Different Versions Of LiteOn Drives?
Thanks Haggard for your good answers, I do appreciate it. I'll hope we have a series 7 then, or 8 v1. Will probably come back for more help if it turns out I'll need to solder or trace.
Best Regards,
NeoRio

Different Versions Of LiteOn Drives?
I'm getting ready to flash my new LiteOn drive. To detect the drive, I looked at the wire colors, as shown in the Jungle Flasher tutorial. I vaguely remember some news about there being different LiteOn models...and that one of those models was un-flashable. That was over a year ago, so it might be...

Kreon vs 0800
Just wanted to ask for a consensus on the question of how much better (safer) a rip with a 0800 drive is compared to a rip done with a Kreon drive and then patched to ssv2. I have 3 Kreon drives (bought them so that I could have backups if 1 failed)...and before I buy a 360 drive to flash into a 08...

Video partition does not match...
Hey guys, how's it going? I'm still ripping my games with a Kreon drive because I haven't been able to get a dedicated 360 drive to do the 0800 method for ripping yet. From all I've been told (here on the forum, as well as from the ABGX moderators in the chat room), rips are just as safe when done ...

Re: Tutorial For Flashing BenQ
I would recomend using jungle flasher becasue its faster and easier, the video is a bit outdated but its the latest video for flashing benq drives we have here. Also make sure you get the latest jungle flasher which is 1.73 Thanks for the heads up louis, is this the tutorial you are suggesting?-- h...
