Re: liteon 9 series ?
When the CK3 probe v2 first releases, it won't have the glue with it. They are still waiting on their order of conductive glue to be sent to xecuter so the first batch or maybe the first few batches will not include the conductive glue.

meh, once you've done a couple successfully, you'll be wondering why you thought they were so hard, considering you still have any fingers left after your done, just kidding!!!

My HTC Hero's home screen
Thought it might be need to post a screen capture of my Hero's home screen. It shows how I've changed HTC's Sense launcher to something a little more my taste. It would be interesting to see some captures of other droid phones on here too.

Re: Cutting tracks on liteon
I hate to be a bummer, but you will still have to cut traces with the new probe. I like the dremel. I keep mine on a medium speed so I can use light strokes across the trace that I'm cutting so it doesn't go all out of control on me. A good magnifier of some sort and a really good light source helps...

explorer360 I believe is the name of it, thats if your wanting to play around with moving files to and from a PC to the 360 hdd, if your wanting to migrate the data from one hdd to another, you might download the migration software from Microsoft.

Each drive has a unique key. You can not use a key from a different drive, unfortunately.

Re: Spoofed hit47 as sammy ms28 ?
Been a while since I have done a hitachi, but you need to restore the drive before doing anything else. Then, if the original drive that came out of the drive was a sammy, you would need to spoof the hitachi as a sammy. I'm not at my flashing computer at the moment, but it can be done. It took me a ...

Re: HDD Issues
I don't know man. Weird that it works connected to a PC but not an xbox. Might use 360 explorer to make a backup of it, then format it and connect it to the 360 and see what it does. That would tell you if its some sort of corruption. Then you could just restore it.

Re: HDD Issues
Try the hdd on a different 360. You can also try a different hdd on the 360 having the trouble. If the HDD works on a different 360, you know its not the hdd, likewise, if a different hdd works on that 360, you know its not the connections between the hdd and the motherboard.

Re: Cutting tracks on liteon
Shoot steel uses a dremel with a bur tool. When I bought my dremel many moons ago, it came with one. They work real nice for this if you have fairly steady hands. I have used a pretty sharp pocket knife and have also used an xacto knife as well. All work well, just make sure you get the cut good eno...

Re: LT Video Tuts
I should rephrase what I said. If your using the MRA method of dumping a lite-on, you don't need a probe or an LT switch. If your doing the original method on a 7x or 8x v1, all thats needed is the normal connectivity kit and probe. The MRA method, as far as I know will work on all lite-ons. Sweet k...

Re: BENQ LT
It means once you get your dump, you will need to use jungleflasher to build your hacked fw and then use iprep to flash it. iprep isn't building the hacked firmware right from what I understand.
