Spoofing DVD Drives without ixtreme firmware.

i have been looking for info on weather or not you can get banned for a spoofed dvd drive. I want to swap out my original drive Hitachi 78 for a BenQ drive. I have original firmware and can use 360FWTB to spoof the drive. SO in essence you would have a flashed drive but only spoofed (not ixtreme). T...

yes, this is a wave 4 game. no firmware out for this type. you can use the activate.iso swap option.

Re: what's the worst 360 you ever opened up?

Thats too funny! I just got one yesterday- the guy told me that it wasnt reading any games so he and his friend tried to fix it... They broke the plug on the actual drive board where the power plugs into( the drive board). to make a long story short. he gave me the plug (traces still attached) and I...

Re: Long Cables

I tried the SATA / Molex front plate from last week and i couldn't get the drives to recognize. :( so Im back to the open side of my Antec a900. It would be nice if a 3-6 foot cable would work but I think there is an issue with trying to transfer data that far apart. anyone know for sure?

Re: x360 usb

That came out for the Hitachi Drives. It was designed as a solution for people that didnt have sata on their PC. Not really useful anymore.

Re: whats the best

I have always used firmware toolbox to flash Hitachi drives. But today I used the JungleFlasher and Its works smooth!
It takes about half the time then firmware toolbox. For the BENQ,SAMMY, and LITEON- use iprep.

Re: MS28 Laser Swap?

Its a pretty straight forward process. you will just need to make sure that you have the right laser. The model number is stamped right on the laser housing. usually for samsung drives its a HD-63. I would also make sure that you clean the tracks while your in there. just remember that you can alway...
