Stock Firmware

Post by trance »

OK people, I would like to pick your brains
Whenever we update to a new hacked firmware, we are advised to flash back to stock.
Now my question is, when we update the dash on stock firmware, is the stock firmware altered in anyway.
If so, do we save every stock firmware, after every dash update .
Therefore flashing in this 'new' stock firmware before every new dash update/hacked firmware, rather than the original post 13146 stock firmware

Or maybe my brains working overtime :?

all you need to save is the original firmware from your drive
or any original firmware that is from a dash update

If your super paranoid you can save the new OFW after every update and use that as your stock, but there aint much difference...
