Backup loader issues

Post by technoe »

Ok guys here goes. I have a Wii 4.1u LU64 with Homebrew installed. My problem now is that I can not get any backup loader installed. I'm not sure what else I need to do.

You will need to put Wad manager 1.4 into the apps folder of your sd card. Then you add the wad that you want to load into the wad folder and you can install them there. Or you can get NeoGamma R7 and put that into the apps folder and run it straight from the HBC. Here is a link for NeoGamma : http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=6572

I think that's where I got it, or I can email you the zip I think its like 651 k. Let me know.

Well I used WadManager 1.5 and tried several different backup launchers I think I didn't label something right. I just re-downloaded some stuff from Yafaze and am getting ready to check it out.

You could install cios corp and not worry about a backup loader and use the disk channel instead. There is a new version out now too. Yafaze is surely to have it by now.

Man I feel so lost. I've been looking at all the stuff at Yafaze and I can't understand most of what I'm reading. Sadalius could you do a step by step for me. I'm terrified that I'm going to brick this sh*t.

Here is the install instructions for the new cioscorp. It is very straight forward to install and if you want to run gamecube backups, it has that capability too. If you want to try it, just go to wiinewz.com, its on the front page.

How to install it:
Unpack the contents of this .zip file to your SD card and run the
"cIOSCORP v3.2 Installer" application via the Homebrew Channel,
sit back, and wait a few minutes. That's it!

If you want to load backup GameCube games aswell, then run the
"cmios Installer" application via the Homebrew Channel, after
installing cIOSCORP v3.2. If you already have a cmios and don't
want to change it, then don't run "cmios Installer".
