laptop wont boot up

i need to pick someones brains , i have a toshiba satalite pro laptop model sp6100 model number ps610e-ngysm-en
i have it plaugged in with the charger the orange power lite on the front is flashing but when i try to push the on button to bot it up nothing happens

that is not much to go on.
try and find a different power cord
take the battery out and put it back in
all you can try is some basic stuff

the last toshiba satalite pro laptop i was handed had a similar issue. Had to replace mobo in the end (graphics chip overheated melting contacts)

But before we go down that route.

1. Remove battery and power cable.
2. Hold the power button in for around 45 seconds
3. Put power cord back in and try to boot laptop.
