For some reason there are some people that can get there drive to dump but thats all.Firmtool/samtool will not run and build there hacked firmware.I don't think this is a problem with firmtool/samtool but a hardware conflict with your computer and the BenQ dvd drive.
Doing this is not hard.
This will walk you through it.
You will need a copy of your orig firmware with a good key.
You will need to download the hacked firmware you want to flash in your 360 dvd drive.
1ST unrar the the hacked firmware.Then open the folders till you see this.I'm using the BenQ v1.4 12x speed hacked firmware for this guide.
Now you want to open speed folder you want your 360 dvd drive to be flash with.I'm using the 12x speed.Open the speed folder .Then put a copy of your orig firmware there.It should look like this.Your orig firmware must be named " orig "
At this point you need to click on the "make ixtreme firmware" gear.You will see this as firmtool/samtool runs and builds your hacked firmware.
The new firmware that showes up in the folder is your new hacked firmware.
Once this is done you will need to follow this guide to flash it in you 360 dvd drive.
