Can't get Iprep to work with 64bit system

Post by AlpharathT25 »

I have windows 7 64 bit and I cannot get Iprep to work with it. When I try to load firmware it fails and says it will not work because Iprep software if for 86(32) bit systems. I have not found Iprep for a 64 bit systems so I was hoping there is a work around for it.

Try running as admin, iPrep should work fine on 64 bit, seeing as the actual flashing isnt done in windows.

Also, you can use an older build of iPrep, and just change the definitions file to a more updated one.

Any idea where to find the new IxDef?
And also to keep updated with them save me asking everyone everytime?

I tried to run as an admin and still had the same problems. I'm pretty good with computers but I don't normally mess with any program files or system files, so is there a tut on how to build from an older Iprep?

I don't think it will work on your version of windows guessing from the error message you get.
Try using Jungleflasher?

Well download the latest iprep, take the ixdef file, copy it onto your desktop or wherever, then download an older iprep, and replace its ixdef with the newer one. Try running that as admin, and see if you get the same message.
