iprep ixdef file compatible with ixtreme 1.6 and 83850c FW
iprep ixdef file compatible with ixtreme 1.6 and 83850c FW
Here ya go gents. Hot off the presses. Just extract this into your x:\program files\iprep\resource folder and replace the ixdef.xml file thats there with this and you should be able to use ixtreme 1.6. I have not tested iprep itself with this setup, but it will create the boot media. Since this has not been tested, please consider using other methods of flashing until it has been confirmed by one of the staff as working or not.

Re: iprep ixdef file compatible with ixtreme 1.6
very much appreciated thanks
Re: iprep ixdef file compatible with ixtreme 1.6
This def file only supports 1.51 and 1.6 anything else, you'll get a message saying invalid firmware.

I still use v006 to flash my BenQ's and Sammy's cos I find it so easy to use.
With the new ixdef I can load 1.6 firmware for a samsung but when I try and load
1.6 for the BenQ I get the message saying invalid firmware

you are hi-jacking someone elses thread.
it not a big deal its just kind of rude
you need to update to
RHPG Iprep v009
http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... f=112&t=48" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
update the def file in that and you should be good to go.
there is very little support for older programs.
Re: iprep ixdef file compatible with ixtreme 1.6
Also, you might consider re-downloading the benq 1.6 firmware. I haven't tried 006 iprep, but with the latest iprep, it loads all of the fw's with no problems after putting in my updated def file.
