Okay, I put the new ixdef file in the resources folder for iprep10.7 but still not able to load either firmware for the lite on's
what am I doing wrong or has anyone else got this to work?

EDIT: Oh I see now that this is the ixdef file for iprep v009 witch doesn't support L83, for now I just try and edit the ixDef.xml my self.... wish me luck.

UPDATE: I was able to edit the ixdef.xml in notepad and added the extra lines for the L74 and L83 so thats no problem.

For iprep, you simply download the ixdef.xml file and put that into the x:/program files/iprep/resource folder. It will ask you if you want to overwrite it, hit yes and your done.

What dows this do exactly? is it iXtreme 1.61? Ive flashed many drives in my time, but i have just got a little confused about 1.61. Is there somewhere that i can download 1.61 to use in iPrep, when i Launch iPrep and load in the different firmwares? Thank you for any help, its greatly appreciated. :)

:D i have just realised what that download is for. Incase there is anybody that doesnt quite understand, it is so iPrep can read the latest firmware, iXtreme 1.61. You have to put the download into the resources folder found under iPrep, and it will ask if you want to replace it, click yes. Then download iXtreme 1.61. It then should work a treat! Just insert the new firmware the way you have done in the past. Just flashed an xbox there now, and is fantastic that i don't require an active.iso. It realy pisse$ me off sometimes, brilliant. Thanks to everybody who made and tested it, works realy well.

Thanks guys, you've been a great help. :D
