Flash or Chip?

Post by cainhunpi »

Hei guys, last monday was my sisters birthday. and I bought her a Wii and i want to know, is there a way to flash the drive or some kind of chip so I can play my back-up games?

If there is a chip. How much would a good one cost? I hope i dont have to solder.

There's a drive chip that's pretty cool, it's from DriveKey, here's the link. Softmods I think are obsolete now, due to an update.

Unless it'll play backup games there's really no way tell.

About the only way to tell is to take it apart. This has a couple of benefits. First, it will tell you if there is a chip or if it's a softmod. Second, if it's a chip, you'll find out what kind of chip it is. This is beneficial if there are any updates for the chip or not.
