Maybe Sadalius will know this, but can you install WADS from an HDD or high capacity SD card?

im not sure what you are talking about
after you install the wad .
they are just that installed in the wii
It takes memory block from the wii
after they are installed you dont need the sd card in the wii
but
they have to be installed from a sd card with the HBC wad manger

that is as far as i know

Well yea, once you install them they do take up space. So you can't put too many on there. Maybe 6 or so. I was looking in the wii settings where you go to run the boot.dol. If you click on the channel it gives u some options. Move, Delete and something else. Can you move it and it not brick the wii? I am assuming you can, but kinda scared to do it. That's why I asked about the hdd.

Or when you go into the hbc manager it gives you an option where to install. Can you do it there?

From the guys over at yafaze.com: You can install the Wad on the Wii and then move it to the SD card. The largest SD card the the Wii can handle is 32 gig SDHC.
