blue screen after backing up a movie?

Post by pink »

was wondering why i keep getting a blue screen with a message saying that the physical memory is being dumped and that system needs to shutdown for protection. this happens after image burn burns an iso and it is during the synchronizing of the cache. it burns to 100% and the dvd plays. when the blue screen comes up it says: Kernel_DATA_IPAGE_ERROR and then the system reboots. i have reflashed the firmware if the dvd burner, reformatted my HDD and installed a clean install of windows xp. any ideas would be appreciated.

Update or change your driver for the drive. Or, just change out the drive.
