HDD Question/HELP!!!!

Ok i rly hope someone can help me out with this one, i have an external hdd its a Seagate 1000Gbytes it was on and i reached for something on the desk and it fell behind the desk now my pc wont pick it up and its making a wierd buzzing sound like its trying to load if its toast i need to know if theres any way possible to get some data off it i have pics of my son and daughter on there that i dont have backups of...my wife is gonna kill me :o :o :o

Could be a fan that's built in to keep it cool... otherwise your screwed because it might have knocked the arm loose inside and its hitting the disks...

Thats what it sounds like to me, the read arm landed on a platter, thats bad news man......

yea it was the arm had a friend of mine look at it its toast this sucks.... thanxs for the input tho

check the cords they might need to be inserted better, it probably knocked it out of position.
IMG removed -> Not suitable for a universal audience

Hard disk drive are used computer. Heart of the computer. Hard disk is store Large amount of data. Data is read us random access memory.
