hahaha

this is a no brainer bro!

Vista Business!

Windows 7 is just what i call a knock off of vista.

mostly an update for XP users.

so i would go vista bro.

windows 7 is great and all, but its new i would wait a little and go with vista,

I've ran both vista and 7. If it was my choice, 7 gets it hands down. Lots of people call it a vista knock off, but under the hood is where the real improvements are, that and the cooperative efforts with their partners on the drivers scene is amazing. But in the end, it is your choice. If you can, find somewhere that you can try out both OS's and make an informed choice that way.

Agreed i dont understand how it can be called a Knock off anyway, for gosh sakes its coming from the same exact comapny that put out Vista.

Windows 7, surely. It runs on my 3 year old laptop brilliantly.

after_burners: You should try to reinstall it, I have it on a 4 year old laptop and it runs great.

OP: I say Windows 7 is just like XP but had a Vista facelift, but thats not exactly a bad thing. XP had much better compatibility than Vista ever had, and like what CoFree said, the support right now for 7 is better than Vista.
