So Ap25 and Samsung Drive

Post by wellhard30 »

Looking C4eva page, His team is not doing a update to the samsung drive, so does that mean the samsung can go xbox live with no problem at the moment? Will it get ban or can it take the latest update?

And here is my answer then

"Samsung currently does not need v3.0 as isn’t an AP2.5-capable drive. LT+ v3.0 is only needed for drives which support AP2.5 (Hitachi 78/79, BenQ, Lite-On). ISOs made for v3.0 that include topology data will work fine on Samsung and old Hitachis. In v3.0, the ISO layout hasn’t changed, except that there will instead be new topology data in place of where the old AP2.5 replay sector used to be, which Samsung & old Hitachis ignore anyway."

yes
that is right
but
that does not mean Samsung can go on live with no worries
you best/safest bet is to run a 2 console setup.
one flashed for backup games and one stock for on line play
just move your flash with your profile and saves back and forth
