Xgd3 games are out "XBC V2.9 "WILL NOT READ"
WARHAMMER 40,000 SPACE MARINE

This new release Is out and in my HAND , and will not dump with xbc v2.9
We are in a wait and see mode as of now.
Hopefully we will get a new xbc and 0800 firmware that will rip this new format.

We will let you know as soon as we hear.

I will start a running list of games that have the new format
the Staff and I will edit this post to keep it up to date.

Hi, I noticed your list of games that have the new xgd3 protections and the Dead Island is not one of them.I have a liteon 7 series with 1.91 F/W and recently updated my Dash to 13599.The game runs fine and has obviously been ripped, so I hope this helps anyone hoping to have a backup of this game.Unless someone has managed to rip a xgd3 original !!

that is not right
as far as i understand it
the xtra 1gb of space has always been on the disc
games are what 7.4 gb the other space was used for security crap
now that xdg3 has came out they are using a much smaller amout of space
so that xtra space can be use for game code now
so the normal dvd DL is what we will still use.

Does this mean I will have to get another drive (BenQ) or will I still be able to use my kreon drive?

i have not heard one thing about
the guy going to fix the kreon firmware

its been best to use a benq or a liteon 360 dvd drive flashed with 0800 for a long time
a kreon will not pull ss2
there are many benq and liteon dvd drives (console dvd drives) on ebay
i would think
you would want to pick one up
if the kreon is not supported any more there may be a run on them
they could get hard to find
